Sandman Hotel & Suites Kelowna

Our stay was great, especially with the spacious room and comfy bed that made us feel right at home. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and loved hanging out in the cozy lounge area. Just a heads up, the shower drained a bit slow but didn’t really dampen our overall experience. 👍

The facts without the fluff

The experience was marred by inadequate housekeeping and discomforting odors. The air conditioning worked well, but the room's cleanliness necessitated significant improvement. Frustratingly, the key cards malfunctioned, causing further inconvenience. While the location is convenient, the overall condition fell short of expectations, especially for the price paid.

I've had an AMAZING stay for the price. I booked a room with an extremely comfy bed, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a personal safe. The location was good and perfect - short way from everywhere I wanted to go.

Local attractions and restaurants. We found the room acceptable but noticed some cleanliness issues, especially around the furniture. The lobby had a nice atmosphere, made up for the downsides somewhat.

Family with children should be cautious

The location was great, staff was helpful and friendly! Kids enjoyed the pool when it was open, but sadly, had to deal with its closure. Had a fridge and microwave in the room which was handy for snacks, something kids always need.

It wasn't affordable, definitely overpriced for the experience.

Had a fine stay for the price. It was based in impeccably clean building in a perfect and exceptionally nice location, close to restaurants. It was also just off Orchard Park Mall, anywhere in downtown and downtown or the west side of Kelowna.

Nice hotel in a magnificent position near everything including mall...

Access to the parking lot just outside our room so very convenient. We also walked over to the mall to pass the time as we waited for vehicle repairs.

The second night we stayed in Kelowna we found the Super 8 and it was just as suitable and about $15-20 cheaper.

Perfect Family Getaway with Great Amenities!

The kids loved the pool, and the on-site restaurant had delicious options for everyone. Make sure to try the breakfast buffet. It's perfect for fueling up for the day. Just remember to put the cleaning tag out early!

Best thing was proximity to downtown Kelowna. There was a good size fridge in the room, coffee pot, microwave, ironing board & iron as well as free WiFi and free local calls. There were 2 restaurants close by, one with access from the hotel & a steak house within a short walking distance. It is an older hotel but the room was large.

It was old. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke and the step into the hotel from the door nearest our room was quite steep for a handicapped person.
